The union can’t stand back and hide like management can. It’s the way the unions are able to be out in the open. However Cnp hides behind closed doors and behind tree’s, etc.! The word is out and now management knows that the union is here even in the south! Just ask the Hot Springs supervisor ! He showed up to the union meeting and was invited to sit down and have dialog with Bernie LaBelle. But he declined! It is against the law for the supervisor of Cnp to attend these functions to try to intimidate employee’s! If anyone has any concerns you should contact www.uwua.com for complete set of rules or check it out on previous blog titled: what they can or can’t do. This is a clear example of the underhanded strategies that CNP does all the time! That my friends is why you need union for your protection!
If anyone has any questions or concerns Bernie will be more than happy to meet with you to anwer them. Also their web site has most of the answers for you. The problem with people who won’t stand up for themselves is they will never take the step to protect their interest. Thats why the union is needed. The USA was built on these principles and the unions were responsible for fair wages and benifits for all working class citizens! Thanks to unions here! Time to get on board!!
why is it that we get no trust from these supervisor? Thats down right low. I bet that if they weren’t supervisors they would sign a card too! Unless they be but kissers alot of these non card sighners are around here!

I have talked to my supervisor about the union and he says he doesn’t blame us for organizing. He has access to see all the backdoor crooked mangement styles that take place in the northern district. I you think Terry Rollins is an honest man you are dead wrong. He is very manipulative and will destroy you if it makes him one penny. He is very good at using scare tactics. I give him credit. He is very good at what he does, and has fooled a lot of people. By the way, if management doesn’t want to play fair then we shouldn’t either. I’m calling out managers that are poor leaders and have no ethics.

I believe that if Rollins and his sidekicks were removed from this company it would be a better place! Also if non trusting supervisors like Giles were gone the south would be better. What i can’t figure is how Rollins keeps on fooling Walter Bryant. Everyone knows that Rollins isn’t the smart one he tries to pass himself off as. Maybe Walter knows and this is the way centerpoint wants their supervisors to behave!!!

DONT FORGET TO INCLUDED THAT LOWLIFE STRICKLAND IN WITH THE REST. HE THINKS THAT HIS CRAP DOESNT STINK. HE THINKS JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE THAT MAKES HIM BETTER. EVERYONE KNOWS HE GOT WHERE HE IS BY KISSING SERIOUS BUTT AND HE STILL IS. WE HERE AT CONWAY WISH HE WAS GONE, NOBODY HERE LIKES HIM BUT THEY KISS HIS TAIL TRYING TO KEEP HIM OFF THEIR REAR. I SAY GET RID OF THEM ALL!

Wow! So much for not being able to name managers or supervisors on this site. And by the way last i heard you all were bad mouthing Bernie and getting another union to come in? So what now we are back on the Bernie bandwagon? Hard to keep up with you union nut jobs. Anyway sounds to me like its a few people trying to keep stuff stired up. The fact of the matter is that there is not near as many people for a union as you would like there to be. This has been going on now for like 3 years if a union thought they had the people it would have done been voted on. So why don’t we just give it a rest or call a vote and lets see just how many people are for it.

Hey screwball, we did not start dropping names until the company decided to break the law and impede on our meetings. You are the nut job if you stand behind a management team that attempts to use intimidation on it’s employees because they want to practice their right to unionize. You are just one of the brainwashed idiots that doesn’t realize how much better our work environment could be if the employees had some power to negotiate.

A vote is conming soon, and the reason we are not giving it a rest is we are now taking the southern 1/2 of the state.

“taking the southern 1/2″??
This blog and any union talk among employees is deader than Nancy Pelosi’s love life and you think you are “taking” something? Epic lulz…

I’m ready for a vote. All we need is enough union minded employees to stand up and sign a card. We have to have so many cards to get to a vote. I literally hate what the national unions stand for but understand the need here at CP for a union. We would all be better served by being part of a union. Just look at what trying to unionize has done for us. Truks with utility beds and caution lights. Cake at safety meetings. Its gotten us more in three years than in the past 12. If everyone that wanted a union would sign a card, we would have been union 2 years ago. People need to grow some and stand for what they believe in. You can’t stand back and let someone else do this for you. It requires skin in the game. All I can say is “get’r done!!”.

looks like the gloves came off in hot springs and it was not the pro-union guys/girls throwing the first punch. sounds like a scare tactic, one that is illegal by the way.what do u have to say about that SCREWBALL?u can bet your last penny that if any of the people that work under you, or any other managers for that matter, would be fired for doing anything that violated the law.be it CNPs law or federal law.heck you cant even have a wreak in your personal vehicle on your personal time without being punished.I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR REPLY SCREWBALL

Can you believe that conway supervisor is telling everyone that is new not to vote for a union, example of not abiding the law once more. I believe real soon he will be getting aquainted with the UWUA lawyers. Boys and girls this is not the way you act when you grow up! How can you expect proper guidence from these folks? You need to sign a card so you know what you can do- it will be in writing!

It seems by reading the comments that there are plenty reasons to organize with the UWUA. If any one have a question they would like to direct to me my email address is bernielabelle@uwua.net. I will be happy to discuss the benefits of union membership, you only have to read some of the contracts that your fellow workers have on this site. We believe in building a brighter future for our members and their families. Unions created through negotiations the 40 hour week, vacation, pensions, health care at work, short term and long term disability. All the things that unionize employees have around this country, as well as management, were part of contract negotiations. I could type for quite a while on this subject. Again if you have any questions email me directly and I will reply and/or call you if you prefer.
Union for life.
